YOUR BINGE WATCHERS QUEUE FOR THIS WEEKEND…

Anything written by August Wilson is worth studying, analyzing, and straight-up cherishing. That’s why The Piano Lesson tops this week’s list. Produced by Denzel Washington, this star-studded film dives into a heated family battle over a cherished heirloom—a piano intricately carved with the images of their ancestors.

A24 movies just hit different. This adrenaline-pumping ride follows a bank robber (Robert Pattinson) with a serious soft spot for his special needs brother as he plunges into a chaotic, neon-drenched night in NYC’s underbelly. Tense, gritty, and unexpectedly emotional.

Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz team up as retired CIA operatives forced back into the spy game. If you were a fan of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, this could be a good action-packed movie to add to your queue.

Awkwafina delivers a heartfelt performance as a Chinese-American woman returning to China after learning her grandmother has a terminal illness—except the family is keeping the news a secret from Nai Nai (grandma). A touching and bittersweet story with humor and warmth.

A disgraced financial reporter (Daniel Craig) takes on a 40-year-old murder case that quickly becomes a deadly obsession. Twists, secrets, and one of the most badass hacker sidekicks in cinema—what’s not to love?

Two moles, one epic game of cat and mouse. A South Boston cop goes undercover in the mob while a mobster infiltrates the police. The first to uncover the other gets to stay alive. Scorsese, DiCaprio, Damon, Nicholson—this one’s on my top 10 favorite movies ever.

Colin Farrell is unrecognizable (in the best way possible) as Oz Cobb, aka The Penguin. This crime drama follows his ruthless and manipulative rise to power in Gotham’s underworld. If you love mob stories and the Caped Crusader, this one’s for you.

A looming chemical weapon attack. A secret CIA program racing against time. If you need a nail-biting, edge-of-your-seat binge, season two just dropped, and it’s ready to consume your weekend.

An Australian psychological thriller that’s way edgier than you’d expect from Disney+. A woman with a dark past takes on the cult that once kidnapped her, hoping to stop them from taking more children. Creepy, gripping, and impossible to look away from.

A refugee couple flees war-torn South Sudan for a new life in England—only to find their new home is haunted by something far worse than their absentee landlord. A chilling blend of horror and social commentary that will keep you up at night.
