Could you believe that weâve reviewed over 100 TV Shows, Movies, Online Content, and Streamers already??
I donât have any updates this week, but if youâll indulge me for a moment, Iâd love to share a small dose of raw positivity. If it adds something meaningful to your weekend, please let me know and we can make this a thing. đ
I came across a quote this week by a Scottish writer named W.H. Murray that says:
âWhatever you dream, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.â
We love to watch movies and TV shows⊠but we should be using our screen time as a way to reward ourselves. That thing youâre putting off? Writing a book. Building a course. Starting a business. Volunteering at that one spot youâve been putting off⊠whatever it is⊠this is your sign to just do it. And when you are done, the screen will be waiting for you for your well-earned binge.
âMy Personalâ queue for this weekend!
DUSTER

A crime-thriller series written by J.J. Abrams takes us into the life of a ballsy getaway driver and a badass FBI agent who wants to take his crime family down.
THE RESIDENCE

A âwhodunnitâ mystery series set in the White House created by Shonda Rhimes⊠I call her Ms. Canât Miss b/c her shows have been hit after hit.
HERETIC

Hugh Grantâs chilling performance as a man playing âcat and mouse,â and testing the faith of two young missionaries.
DEN OF THIEVES 2: PANTERA

I loved the first action-heist. So, Iâll give this one a chance. Not gonna lie, I havenât watched this one yet and wholeheartedly expect it not to live up to the first movie. Cuz sequel's gonna sequel. But Iâll still give it a shot.
I SAW THE TV GLOW

This one gave me Donnie Darko vibes, and I kinda appreciated it. Two classmates get caught up binging a mysterious TV show that begins to collide with their reality.
ZERO DAY

Robert DeNiro stars in this limited-series political thriller about a former president investigating a devastating zero-day cyberattack in the US.
NOSFERATU

This remake got pretty good reviews⊠I like watching creatures of the night. So why not?
ON THE COUNT OF THREE

I canât believe I missed this one! In a dark comedy from 2022, two best friends agree to help each other commit suicide. They also agree to live their last days to the fullest.
AMBULANCE

I love watching Jake Gyllenhaal. I love watching Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. Put them together and add some over-the-top Michael Bay production⊠youâve got my attention.
ZONE OF INTEREST

This one is a bit heavier⊠but sometimes I like to watch movies with great dialogue and character study⊠this one is one of those. A Nazi strives to build a dream life for his family in a house right next to the concentration and extermination camp he helped create.
THE KENDOSTICK PICK.
